B & J Wonderland Day Care #2

Ms. Esmy’s passion for teaching began at an early age, starting with her own siblings before expanding to her community. At just 14 years old, she took on the role of an educator to support her large family, which sparked a lifelong dedication to helping children learn and grow. She soon began teaching religious classes on weekends and later became a counselor at an afterschool program, further deepening her commitment to education.

As she pursued higher education, Ms. Esmy became a certified Teacher’s Assistant and later advanced to a Teacher Supervisor role at Manhattan Kids Club. Her desire to support children of all abilities led her to earn BCBA certification, enabling her to provide ABA therapy for children on the autism spectrum. Since 2017, she has worked as both a Direct Support Specialist and ABA Therapist, helping children develop essential skills and reach their full potential.

Beyond her work in education and therapy, Ms. Esmy founded Duran’s Education Station, a tutoring program she envisions evolving into a daycare in the future. This passion for early childhood education ultimately led her to partner with B & J Wonderland Daycare, where she continues to create meaningful learning experiences for children.

Now, as the owner of her own program, Ms. Esmy is committed to delivering exceptional quality care and early learning in the Sugar Hill community in Manhattan (10031). Her mission remains the same: to inspire, educate, and shape young minds, ensuring that every child she works with has the opportunity to thrive.
