Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Childcare Provider to be responsible for providing direct supervision and early childhood education. The Childcare Provider will work closely with the On Site Provider in conducting daily duties such as preparing and serving meals, changing diapers, writing daily reports, recording attendance, implementing the daily activity and educational curriculum, assisting during naps, and maintaining a safe & healthy environment.
To be successful as a Childcare Provider, you must possess a passion for children and exercise patience with them. You should display a friendly and positive attitude and greet parents and children by their name. Ultimately, you should constantly monitor and supervise the children in your care to ensure their safety.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide support to the On Site Provider
Monitor and supervise the children constantly.
Assist the On Site Provider in maintaining a safe and positive environment.
Cultivate relationships with children, parents, and guardians.
Greet parents and address children by their name.
Adhere to procedures in preparing a bottle or changing a diaper.
Assist with activities indoor and outdoor.
Assist in putting children to sleep
Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interest
Maintain the Health and Hygiene of the facility
Plan, implement the daily activities and curriculum
Child Care Provider Requirements & Qualifications
Fluent in English and/or Spanish
2 or more years of experience caring for children in a paid or unpaid position
First Aid Training, offered if needed.
Basic technology literacy
Must meet state-specific guidelines
Loving, nurturing, responsible, communicative, patient, transparent
Vaccinated against Covid
Available to work as needed any time Monday-Friday between 7am-7pm
Able to carry up to 50 lbs
CDA Certificate a PLUS
Subject to Fingerprint and background approval by the Department of Health
